Estoril Golf Course
18 holes  6439 yards  Par 72
During the spring of 1992 this famous club completed the re-design of three of its holes, and now proudly boasts a course full of the character that made it a favourite with royalty during the first half of this century. Position off the tee is all important if you are to score well here, as well as a good eye for distance.

Penha Longa
18 holes  6747 yards  Par 72
Situated in the foothills below the historic town of Sintra, the course offers a contrasting selection of holes. None more notable than the 460 yard par 4 17th. From an elevated tee you play towards the hills, normally with a stiff breeze against you, to a slightly dog-legged fairway that sweeps up towards the raised green. Penha Longa should be top of your list of courses to play in this area.

Quinta da Marinha
18 holes 6684 yards Par 71
Quinta da Marinha bears the unmistakable mark of Trent Jones Snr; many large water hazards with small and well bunkered greens. Underwent major improvements during 1999/2000 and it is now back to its very best. Will host the European Tour's Estoril open in October 2001.

Oitavos
The new course at Oitavos, Quinta da Marinha opens in the summer of 2001 and promises to be the most exciting in the area.

Golden Eagle
18 holes 6600 yards Par 72
This is an immaculately kept private course situated 55km north of Lisbon. The course was designed by Rocky Roquemore and makes excellent use of the natural foliage and contour of the land. The course is very similar to those in Florida with water hazards on several holes.
